Training and Endurance

  • 60 minutes
  • Must be enrolled in a stroke class
  • Intermediate to Advanced Swimmers welcome

While students do well to refine their strokes, if they truly want to cut time and get faster, spending time in the pool practicing what they’ve learned in stroke class is essential. Tollefson Swimming offers Training & Endurance practices to fit any swimmer. You may register  for once a week or up to four times a week depending on how hard your swimmer wants to commit to his or her training. These large group practices are organized according to age group and skill level and based on their lane placement, swimmers will complete an appropriate amount of yardage based on age, skill, and speed.

Practices meet for one hour between 1-4 times a week during one of the following times:

  • Fall, Winter and Spring:
    • Tuesday evenings 7:30-8:30pm
    • Thursday evenings 7:30-8:30pm
    • Saturday afternoons 3-4:00pm
    • Sunday afternoons 3-4:00pm
  • Summer:
    • Mon, Tues, and Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm
